What buyers say
The V15 Detect Origin excels at deep cleaning hard floors and carpets while its laser light exposes dust you didn't know was there, making it a favorite for pet households.
Loved by buyers
- •The green light reveals invisible dust, making you feel floors are truly clean.
- •Strong suction lifts pet hair and debris from both carpets and hard floors, often outperforming previous vacuums.
- •Cordless and lightweight design makes quick cleanups and stair cleaning much less of a chore.
Buyer concerns
- •High-pitched whine during operation can be grating during longer cleaning sessions.
- •Battery drains quickly on max power (around 30 minutes), requiring an extra battery for whole-house deep cleans.
- •Long-term reliability questions, with a small number of owners reporting early failure and frustrating warranty support.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long will the battery last when I'm using the high suction mode?+
Around 30 minutes. If you have a large home, consider an extra battery to finish in one go.
Does the laser light work on carpets?+
The Fluffy Optic cleaner head with the light is designed for hard floors. For carpets, you'd use the Digital Motorbar head, which doesn't have the reveal light but still deep cleans.
Is this vacuum good for cleaning stairs and above-floor areas?+
Yes, it converts easily into a handheld unit, and its lightweight build makes stair cleaning and reaching high spots much simpler than with a heavy corded vacuum.
Does the trigger need to be held down the entire time?+
Yes, it uses a power trigger that activates only when held. This helps conserve battery but can be tiring during long cleaning sessions; there's no lock-on button.
