Best for

Daily cordless touch-ups on hard floors and low rugs if you accept short max runtime; skip for whole-house deep cleans on one charge or heavy upholstery pet hair.

What buyers say

V8 Plus owners love the cordless grab-and-go convenience, the Motorbar detangling on pet hair, and a wall dock that makes daily quick cleans painless. Standard mode covers small homes but max mode dies fast, and the trigger must stay pressed the whole time, which causes hand fatigue on longer jobs. Several units stopped charging entirely after a year, backward passes on thin rugs leave debris behind, and one buyer found the hair screw tool missing from the box despite being advertised.

Loved by buyers

•Suction that outpulls older cordless sticks on hardwood and area rugs in one pass
•Motorbar detangling that cuts down scissors time on long hair and pet fur
•Handheld conversion for stairs and cars without needing a second tool

Buyer concerns

•Max mode dies before finishing larger homes; standard mode may need two sessions
•Must hold the trigger the whole time, causing hand fatigue on long cleans
•Backward passes on thin rugs stop the brush from spinning and leave debris

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the battery last on max mode?+

Max mode provides only about 5 minutes of runtime. Use standard mode for up to 40 minutes of whole-home cleaning.

Does it work well for pet hair on couches?+

It removes pet hair from hard floors and carpets effectively, but on fabric couches it may leave hair behind even after multiple passes.

Is it lightweight enough to carry around the house?+

It is lightweight and easy to carry with one hand, making it convenient for stair cleaning and moving between rooms.

Do I have to hold the trigger down the whole time while vacuuming?+

You must hold the trigger continuously; some find this tiring, and aftermarket clips are available to lock it if needed.

How loud is it on the high setting?+

Max mode is loudly disruptive, while normal mode is quieter and suitable for use around sleeping babies.
