Kenmore
Kenmore DU2015 Bagless Upright Vacuum Lightweight Carpet Cleaner with 10’Hose, HEPA Filter, 4 Cleaning Tools for Pet Hair, Hardwood Floor, Red
Best for
Best for carpeted homes with pets where strong suction and tangle-free cleaning matter most; skip it if you need a quiet, durable vacuum for primarily hard floors.
What buyers say
The trade-off you’ll accept is a shorter lifespan and a brush roll that won’t stop on hard floors, so it’s not built for everyday bare-floor use.
Loved by buyers
- •Anti-tangle brush roll keeps long hair and pet fur from wrapping, saving maintenance time.
- •Strong suction pulls deep dirt from carpet that previous vacuums left behind.
Buyer concerns
- •Durability concerns: multiple reports of parts failing within a year, including stripped screws and belt issues.
- •Exhaust air blows debris around on hard floors and dislodges lightweight items.
- •Onboard tool storage is unreliable; attachments fall off during use.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does it work well on high-pile carpet?+
Yes, the adjustable height and strong suction handle high-pile carpet effectively. In real homes, it pulled embedded dirt that lighter vacuums missed.
How long is the power cord?+
The cord stretches to 30 feet, letting you cover multiple rooms without switching outlets. It’s a practical length for most spaces.
Is the HEPA filtration effective for allergies?+
The HEPA system traps fine particles, but it’s only as good as the filter maintenance. We recommend washing the filter regularly to keep air clean and suction strong.
How much does it weigh, and is it easy to carry upstairs?+
At just under 14 pounds, it’s light for an upright and manageable on stairs if you’re comfortable lifting that much. Some users still find it heavier than expected, so consider your comfort.
