Miele
Miele Blizzard CX1 Electro & Bagless Canister Vacuum, Obsidian Black
Best for
Best for large homes with wall-to-wall carpet and multiple pets where deep, quiet cleaning outweighs the need for quick, hassle-free pickups; skip it if you have toddlers who scatter small toys or if you want a grab-and-go vacuum that demands little maintenance.
Most owners agree this vacuum delivers powerful, deep-cleaning suction that picks up embedded dirt and pet hair far better than typical bagless models, and runs quiet enough for conversation. The trade-off is that its strong suction frequently ingests larger objects, leading to clogs that require disassembly, and the bagless system needs diligent filter cleaning to avoid costly performance drops.
Loved by buyers
- •Deep carpet cleaning that pulls out hair and dust older vacuums left behind, thanks to strong airflow and the motorized brush.
- •Quiet operation that lets you carry on a conversation, a surprising plus in a high-suction vacuum.
- •Durable construction with a repair network and available spare parts, suggesting it can last many years.
Buyer concerns
- •Suction power grabs small toys, socks, and debris, causing clogs in the brush head or hose that require taking things apart, which isn't designed for frequent DIY fixes.
- •Emptying the dust bin can release a cloud of fine dust back into the air, making it messier than expected for a bagless vacuum.
- •The cord is shorter than ideal for larger rooms, forcing you to switch outlets more often.
