Miele
Miele NEW Guard L1 Cat & Dog Bagged Canister Vacuum for Pet Owners with Odor-Reducing Active AirClean Filter, TurboTeQ Floorhead, and AllTeQ Universal Floorhead + Performance Pack Bundle
Best for
This vacuum suits tidy pet households with mostly hard floors and low-pile carpets who want a lightweight, quiet canister, but skip it if you have long-haired heavy shedders or deep carpet, as hair tangles and clogs in the turbo brush and wand.
What buyers say
Most owners agree this canister delivers strong suction, light maneuverability, and a sealed bag system that traps dust and pet odors, genuinely leaving homes cleaner. The trade-off is that the air-driven turbo brush tangles with long pet hair and the wand can clog, so it is a practical pick mainly for moderate shedding on hard surfaces.
Loved by buyers
- •The lightweight canister and telescoping wand reach high ceilings and deep under furniture without strain, a real back-saver in everyday cleaning.
- •The sealed HyClean bags capture dust and neutralize pet odors, and they hold a surprising amount, so you are not constantly changing them.
- •Quiet, strong suction adjusts with a simple foot control, gliding smoothly from hard floors to low-pile carpets.
Buyer concerns
- •The turbo brush bar wraps long hair tightly and is tedious to cut free, often taking longer than the vacuuming itself.
- •The wand interior can pack with dog hair and must be disassembled or cut out to clear, a messy frustration for heavy-shedding homes.
- •A thin plastic latch on the bag door has snapped during a first bag change on some units, leaving the vacuum unusable.
