What buyers say
The single anti-tangle roller stays free of hair in homes with German shepherds and cats after months of daily use. The dock washes mop pads in hot water and dries them with warm air, a genuine step up from older S8 docks. Voice commands barely register, so the app is the only way to run it.

- •Dock ramp gets slippery when robot wheels are wet after mopping, causing failed returns
Frequently Asked Questions
Does it get tangled with pet hair?+
The zero-tangling brushes prevent hair from wrapping, so pet hair rarely tangles on the roller. However, dog hair can clump at the dustbin entrance and may need clearing every few days.
How long does the battery last on a single charge?+
Battery life is excellent, lasting over 3.5 hours of cleaning. Users report it rarely needs to recharge mid-clean except during deep cleaning cycles.
Does it clean edges and corners well?+
The extending side brush and mop reach into corners and along edges effectively, leaving fewer missed spots than many competitors. Its edge mopping system ensures tight spots are covered.
Is it loud when cleaning?+
The vacuum is relatively quiet during operation, quieter than previous Roborock models. The self-emptying dock is loud briefly when emptying the dustbin.
Can it mop hard floors effectively?+
The mopping cleans hard floors thoroughly, removing most stains and leaving no streaks. Very stubborn, dried-on messes may require manual spot cleaning.
