Roomie Tec
Roomie Tec Corded Stick Vacuum Cleaner for Home, 450W High Suction Power | Lightweight Handheld with Bagless HEPA Filter, Large Dust Capacity, 20ft Cable - Ideal For Dorm Room, Office, Floor and Cars.
Best for
Best for small apartments or daily touch-ups on hard floors and low-pile rugs; skip it if you need a vacuum that can handle deep carpet or entire houses without frequent emptying.
What buyers say
The main trade-off is that suction and build quality feel adequate rather than powerful, so it suits quick cleanups but not deep carpet cleaning.
Loved by buyers
- •Weighing around 3 pounds, it is easy to carry around the house and up stairs.
- •The suction picks up pet hair, crumbs, and fine dust from vinyl, tile, and low-pile carpet.
- •The handheld mode and included attachments reach corners, furniture, and car interiors.
Buyer concerns
- •Plastic housing feels flimsy, and some units arrive with brittle components.
- •The floor head drags on medium and high-pile carpet, making it tough to push.
- •The dust bin fills quickly, especially if you have pets or a larger space.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long is the cord, and do I need an extension cord?+
The cord is 20 feet. In smaller rooms, that is enough, but for open floor plans or large areas, many owners use an extension cord.
Is it quiet enough to use while kids are sleeping?+
Yes, several owners mention the noise level is low, and it does not startle babies or pets.
Does the HEPA filter trap allergens, and can I wash it?+
The washable HEPA filter captures fine dust and dander, which helps if you have allergies. Rinse it under water when performance drops.
How does it handle pet hair on furniture?+
The handheld mode with the dusting brush or crevice tool works on upholstery and stairs, pulling up hair that a lint roller might miss.
Can I use it on both carpet and bare floors without switching heads?+
Yes, the floor head has a foot pedal that adjusts between floor and carpet mode, though it performs best on hard surfaces and low-pile rugs.
