Shark Vertex Ultra-Light DuoClean | Corded Stick Vacuum Cleaner for Carpet, Rugs & Hard Floors | Lightweight Hand Vacuum for Pet Hair | Self-Cleaning Brushroll | 3 Attachments | Cobalt Blue | HZ2002
Best for
Pet owners who want corded suction without the bulk of a traditional upright, but skip it if you need a vacuum that stands on its own or a larger dust bin for bigger homes.
What buyers say
Owners consistently praise the strong suction and effective pet hair pickup, making this a practical corded choice for whole-home cleaning. The main trade-off is a small dust bin that needs frequent emptying combined with a design that cannot stand upright on its own.
Loved by buyers
- •Strong suction power that handles embedded dirt and pet hair as well as larger uprights
- •Self-cleaning brushroll genuinely prevents hair wrap, reducing maintenance
- •Long power cord lets you clean multiple rooms without hunting for outlets
Buyer concerns
- •Dust bin must be emptied frequently, often after a single room
- •Cannot stand upright; you must lean it against a wall or use a wall mount
- •Motor can overheat and shut down during longer cleaning sessions
Frequently Asked Questions
How do you empty the dust bin?+
Press the release lever to unclip the cup, then use both hands to pull it fully open and dump the debris. It is not a one-handed or one-step process.
Does the self-cleaning brushroll really prevent hair tangles?+
Yes, we have seen many pet owners confirm the brushroll actively clears hair as you clean, keeping the bristles free of wrap. Very fine or long hair may still build up over time.
Can I shorten the wand for cleaning stairs?+
Yes, you can detach one of the stick sections to create a shorter handheld wand, which works well for stairs and furniture.
