DREAME
DREAME L40s Ultra CE Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo with Self-Emptying Dock, 13,000Pa Suction, Mop Self-Cleaning and Auto-Raising, Ultrasonic Carpet Sensing, Ideal for Pet Hair, Carpet and Hard Floors
Best for
Best for homes with mostly hard floors and low-pile rugs that want a set-it-and-forget-it vac and mop, but avoid it if you have multiple heavy-shedding pets or live in an unsupported region where the app might restrict usage.
What buyers say
Owners find this robot handles everyday dirt, hair, and mopping on hard floors and carpets with little manual effort. The main trade-off is that homes with heavy pet shedding may overwhelm the self-emptying system, and users outside supported regions risk app lockouts.
Loved by buyers
- •The spinning mop pads scrub floors effectively and automatically lift on carpets, keeping rugs dry.
- •The base station empties dust, washes and dries the mop pads, so you only refill water every few days.
- •Navigation is precise, mapping your home quickly and avoiding obstacles like socks without bumping into walls.
Buyer concerns
- •With heavy-shedding pets, the dustbin can clog before the dock empties it, and the robot gives no alert, leading to dirt smeared across floors.
- •The Dreame app may block use in certain regions like Mexico, making the robot unusable without unreliable workarounds.
- •Larger crumbs and debris, such as cereal or kibble, often get pushed along the floor instead of sucked up.
Frequently Asked Questions
How loud is the robot and its dock?+
The vacuum itself is quiet, comparable to a microwave hum, so you can run it overnight. The dock's emptying and pad-washing cycles are noticeably louder, more like a standard vacuum, so placing it away from bedrooms is wise.
How often do I need to replace the dust bags?+
For an average home, the dock's bag holds up to 100 days of dust. Pet-heavy households may need a new bag every 30 to 60 days, depending on shedding.
Does it handle high-pile carpets?+
It climbs low and medium-pile carpets easily, lifting its mop to keep them dry. High-pile or shag rugs may be too thick for the robot to traverse.
