Kenmore
Kenmore BC2005 Pet Friendly Lightweight Bagged Canister Vacuum Cleaner with Extended Telescoping Wand, HEPA Filter, Retractable Cord, and 2 Cleaning Tools
Best for
Households with mostly hard floors and low-pile rugs where strong suction for pet hair is needed, but skip if you have deep carpet requiring a motorized brush or if you need a lightweight vacuum for frequent under-furniture cleaning.
What buyers say
Most owners agree this Kenmore canister delivers strong suction that handles pet hair well on hard floors and low-pile rugs, and the bagged design keeps dust contained. The main trade-off is a build that feels less solid than older models, with a wand that can strain wrists and a handle control that may break if dropped.
Loved by buyers
- •Suction is powerful enough to pick up pet hair from low-pile rugs even without a motorized brush.
- •Bagged system keeps dust contained during disposal, a real plus for allergy sufferers.
- •The 26-foot retractable cord and wand-mounted tool storage make it practical for moving across large rooms.
Buyer concerns
- •Handle controls are fragile and can break internally if the hose is dropped, a costly failure point.
- •The floor nozzle sits too high to slide under couches and low furniture without awkward angling.
- •The wand assembly feels heavier than older models, leading to wrist fatigue during longer cleaning sessions.
