Kenmore
Kenmore CU5001 Litening Cordless Upright Vacuum with Lift-Up & Hair Eliminator Nozzle, Brushless Motor, HEPA Filter & LED Display for Low-Pile Carpets, Rugs, Hard Floors & Pets, Blue
Best for
Best for pet owners with mostly hard floors and low-pile rugs in smaller to medium homes who want a cordless, bagged vacuum that keeps replacement bags affordable; skip it if you need a featherlight stick or deep carpet deep-cleaning, or if high-pitched sounds trigger headaches.
Most owners agree this Kenmore delivers strong suction on hard floors and low-pile carpets, especially for pet hair, with a bagged design that keeps dust contained. The main trade-off is that you get cordless upright convenience in a smaller, lighter package than full-size models, but it can feel heavy compared to stick vacs and the high-pitched turbo mode bothers some people.
Loved by buyers
- •Powerful suction pulls debris from inches away on hard floors and lifts embedded pet hair from low-pile rugs in one pass.
- •Bagged system means no dusty bin emptying: just toss the whole bag, and the sealed HEPA filtration traps fine particles.
- •Hair Eliminator nozzle significantly reduces hair wrap on the brushroll, even with long pet and human hair.
Buyer concerns
- •The noticeably smaller dust bin fills quickly in larger homes, requiring frequent bag changes during extended cleaning.
- •Turbo mode produces a piercing, high-pitched whistle that can cause discomfort or headaches for noise-sensitive users.
- •The 12.44-inch cleaning head feels narrow, demanding extra passes to cover the same floor area as wider uprights.
