Shark
Shark AV753 ION Robot Vacuum, Tri-Brush System, Wifi Connected, 120 Min Runtime, Works with Alexa, Multi Surface Cleaning, Grey
Best for
Single-floor hard-surface homes with pets who can run it on a daytime schedule with lights on; skip for multi-story layouts, blackout-curtain homes, or anyone who wants room-specific commands without weeks of mapping patience.
What buyers say
Camera mapping takes five to ten runs before room labels unlock, it demands lights left on to see, and the app lacks no-go zones, so you'll be taping down magnetic strips and rescuing it from drapery cords.
Loved by buyers
- •Bagless base holds weeks of debris and opens with a button over the trash
- •Tri-brush system picks up dog and cat hair without tangling the roller every run
- •Compact dock fits into corners where a full-size canister base can't
Buyer concerns
- •Camera navigation needs lights on; scheduled night runs fail to map or return
- •Gets stuck on socks, sliding door tracks, and drapery it should avoid
- •App has no drawable no-go zones, only physical BotBoundary strips
Frequently Asked Questions
Does it handle pet hair well?+
It picks up pet hair effectively on hard floors. On carpets, multiple passes may be needed to remove all fur completely.
How long does the battery last?+
The battery runs up to 120 minutes, enough to clean about 600-1000 square feet on a single charge.
Is it loud?+
The vacuum itself is quiet, like a low hum. The self-emptying base is louder but only runs for about 30 seconds.
Does it work well on carpets?+
It cleans carpets adequately but may struggle with larger debris and require extra passes on thicker pile.
How well does it handle hair tangling on the brush?+
The brush resists tangling well. Long hair may occasionally wrap around it but can be snipped off easily.
