Armor All
Armor All VBV809 0901 8-Gallon 4.5 Peak HP Wet/Dry Vacuum with Detachable Blower, Orange
Best for
This vac suits homeowners who need a versatile, affordable wet/dry vac for occasional garage, car, and basement cleanups, but skip it if you need a rugged unit for daily heavy-duty use or constant rolling over rough terrain.
What buyers say
Most owners find this vacuum genuinely powerful for wet and dry messes, and the detachable blower adds real versatility in one tool. The main trade-off is that while it handles everyday jobs well, the wheels tend to pop off, making it a practical but not heavy-duty pick.
Loved by buyers
- •Strong suction that powers through both wet spills and dry debris without clogging or losing power.
- •The detachable blower clears leaves and debris quickly, saving you from owning a separate leaf blower.
- •The 8-gallon tank holds plenty of debris, and the compact design with 360° wheels makes it easy to move and store in tight spaces.
Buyer concerns
- •The wheels sometimes pop off when rolling over bumps or rough floors, which gets annoying and interrupts cleanup.
- •The included flat carpet nozzle is small, so vacuuming large rugs or entire rooms takes longer than it should.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the cord reach far enough for a garage or basement without an extension?+
It is fairly long but not extra-long; some owners wish for a bit more reach, so plan for an extension cord in larger spaces.
Is it easy to carry up stairs for cleaning?+
Yes, it is compact and light enough for an adult to lift by the top handle, making stair cleaning practical.
Can the blower handle wet leaves or just dry debris?+
The blower works well for dry leaves and light debris; for heavy wet leaves, you might need a stronger dedicated blower.
