BLACK+DECKER
BLACK+DECKER Shop Vacuum Wet and Dry, 4 Gallon 5.0 Peak HP Wet/Dry Vacuum, Quiet Operation with Muffler, Long Reach Cleaning Range & On-Board Storage, Complete Accessory Set, BDXV18905P-4
Best for
We would pick this for RV interiors, lanai floors, and quick household cleanups, and we would skip it for a large garage or yard that needs longer reach and a bigger tank.
What buyers say
The trade-off is a 17-foot cord that already feels short outdoors, plus a dust bag that is not obvious to seat.
Loved by buyers
- •Light enough to roll across a lanai or park in an RV, while still pulling everyday debris with genuine suction
- •A large power switch you can flip with a foot, and a simple body without extra parts that tend to fail
Buyer concerns
- •The 17-foot cord runs short for outdoor or lanai work, so you keep switching outlets
- •The dust bag does not have a clear seat on the unit, which turns a simple setup into guesswork
Frequently Asked Questions
Does it pick up water and wet messes?+
Yes. It is a wet/dry vac, and one owner attached the hose to an outdoor A/C drip pipe and cleared a drainage backup so cooling came back on.
How long is the hose?+
The flexible hose is 7 feet. That reach lets you work around furniture or a vehicle without dragging the tank every few feet.
Do the attachments store on the vac?+
Yes. On-board holders keep the included accessory set on the unit, so tools travel with it instead of sitting in a separate bin.
