DEWALT
DEWALT 10 Gallon Poly Wet Dry Vacuum, 5.5 HP Shop Vacuum 120V 90 CFM for Jobsite, Work Shop, Comerical Area, Garage/Warehouse etc, 10 Ft Cord Model DXV10P
Best for
Best for workshops, garages, and car detailing where quiet cleanup matters. It handles shared living spaces without noise complaints. Skip it if you expect a long, flexible hose out of the box or need to reach deep into vehicle crevices without buying extra attachments.
What buyers say
This shop vacuum genuinely stands out for quiet operation that rivals a household vacuum, while still delivering the power to pick up everything from sawdust to spilled drinks. The main trade-off is a short, stiff hose that forces you to work close to the vac, so a longer, more flexible hose is a common upgrade right away.
Loved by buyers
- •Quieter than most shop vacs, with a noise level that rivals a residential vacuum.
- •The on-board tool pouch neatly stores all accessories, so nothing gets lost or hangs loose.
- •A 20-foot power cord combined with smooth-rolling casters makes it easy to move around large areas without constant unplugging.
Buyer concerns
- •The included hose is only about 6 to 8 feet long and stiff, making it hard to reach into vehicle corners or under furniture.
- •The standard crevice tool is not narrow enough for tight car interiors; a micro-crevice attachment would be more practical.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long is the hose and can a longer one be attached?+
The stock hose is about 6 to 8 feet long. Many owners replace it with a standard 1-7/8 inch, 10-foot or longer aftermarket hose for better reach and flexibility.
Can the filter be cleaned instead of replaced?+
Yes, the cartridge filter is a washable plastic-like material. Rinse it with a hose and let it air dry for about a day before reuse.
Does it have enough suction for wet spills like a flooded floor?+
Absolutely. Owners report it sucking up large liquid spills, from flooded floors to entire sodas in car carpets, without leaving sticky residue.
How powerful is the blower function?+
The built-in blower port has enough force to clear sawdust, grass clippings, and light debris from workshop floors and driveways, though it's not a standalone leaf blower.
